Welcome to Springdale Labradoodles
We are a family-based breeder proudly dedicated to ethical, responsible breeding and to raising and training exceptional multigenerational Miniature and Medium Australian Labradoodles.
All of our parent dogs are fully registered with certified pedigrees and have completed the highest level of health testing through both reputable Australian Labradoodle associations: The Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA) and The Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA). Our puppies typically range from 15 to 45 pounds, depending on the specific parents of each litter. We provide our closest adult size estimates with every planned pairing—please visit our Upcoming Litters page for details.
Raised in our home in Greensboro, North Carolina, we are proud to be a responsible breeder of the Australian Labradoodle—an intelligent, intuitive, gentle, fun-loving, and allergy/asthma-friendly breed. Our dogs are deeply loved and extensively health tested. They are never raised in kennels; instead, they live in our home or with carefully selected guardian families (visit our Guardian Homes page for more information), always as cherished members of the family. We firmly believe that happy, healthy, and well-loved parents produce healthier puppies.
Our goal is to operate with the highest level of integrity while producing genetically exceptional, structurally sound, and well-adjusted puppies who are ready to become a loving part of your family.
We raise our puppies using a thoughtful blend of proven, reputable programs, including Puppy Culture, Avidog, and Empowered Badass Breeder. These methods incorporate early neurological stimulation, early scent introduction, and enriched environments to support confidence and development from the very beginning. Our in-home puppy play area focuses on early problem-prevention training, including emotional resilience, therapeutic play exercises, and sound desensitization. Puppies are gently introduced to common household and environmental sounds such as thunderstorms, lightning, and doorbells.
We begin potty training with a bell on the door at four weeks of age and introduce crate training at six weeks. By eight weeks, puppies are typically sleeping through the night in their crates and are well prepared for a smooth transition into their new homes. To further support this transition, each puppy goes home with their crate and a Snuggle Puppy from our home, providing familiar comfort during those first nights.
We strive for excellence in our dogs, our customer service, and the relationships we build with the families who entrust us with raising their new puppy. You can trust our program for transparency, prompt communication, and exceptional support. We understand the level of trust placed in us by our puppy families, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
Puppy Pricing
Our puppies go home at 8 weeks of age. Puppies are $3,500 (puppy training programs are available for an additional cost—please visit our Trained Puppy page for more information and pricing). A $500 non-refundable reservation fee is required to hold your puppy reservation for a specific timeline (best for your family) or a specific litter. The $500 reservation fee is applied toward the total adoption fee. The reservation fee is non-refundable because, once a reservation is confirmed, we dedicate our time to supporting our families and answering questions and providing updates when requested. In some cases, your cancelation or last minute deferral may also result in a missed opportunity for another family to reserve a puppy that might have otherwise been available.
We offer three distinct puppy training options (please visit our Trained Puppy Options page) designed to support your puppy’s early development and create a smooth transition into your home—helping families bypass many of the common challenges of the puppy stage. Early training can make a meaningful difference in those first weeks at home. Our programs focus on building strong foundational skills, encouraging good habits, and easing common challenges such as house training, crate training, and basic manners. By starting training early, families often enjoy a smoother transition and greater confidence as their puppy continues to grow and learn.
Ready to Reserve Your New Best Friend?
Step 1 - Complete our Puppy Adoption Application
Please complete our Puppy Adoption Application and click Submit. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. If you do not receive an email, call, or text from us within 24 hours, please contact Alyssa at 336-736-9680 (call or text) to ensure we received your application.
Once your application is successfully submitted, you should receive an email confirmation of receipt.
Step 2 - Submit a Reservation Fee
Once you have completed our puppy adoption application and your application has been personally reviewed and approved during a phone call, the next step is submitting the $500 reservation fee.
Reservation fees are accepted via personal check or Good Dog Pay, a secure online payment platform that accepts credit cards. A specific online payment link will be provided to your family upon approval. Please note that Springdale Labradoodles does not guarantee placement on our reservation list or within a specific litter until the reservation fee has been received.
You will remain on our reservation list until you have been offered—and have accepted—a specific litter whose characteristics align with your family’s needs and preferences. If we do not have a puppy or litter available that meets your preferred gender, size, or color, you may choose to defer to a future litter.
Step 3 - Accept Our Invitation to Join a Litter!
Once we have received your $500 reservation fee and completed puppy application, and puppies are born that align with your family’s preferences and desired go-home timing, you will receive an email invitation to join a specific litter.
If you choose to defer your invitation for any reason, your reservation fee may be transferred to a future litter that better matches your preferences and preferred go home timing.
Upcoming litter announcements are based on our best estimates of cycle timing and pending pregnancy confirmations. We update our website as we receive confirmed information, including successful breedings, pregnancy confirmations, and birth announcements with specific go-home dates. While we strive to provide accurate timelines, we cannot guarantee estimated breeding, whelping, or go-home dates until pregnancy has been confirmed.
Step 4 - Final Payment & Puppy Matching Process
$3000 (final puppy payment) is due by the time the puppy is 6 weeks old and prior to puppy matching/selections.
Puppy matching takes place at 7 weeks of age. Springdale Labradoodles reserves the right to hold back any puppy for the betterment of the breed and our program.
When the litter is approximately 6 weeks old, and prior to temperament testing, we will invite your family to share your list of "preferred" puppies from the litter in order for us to have for reference. These preferences help us understand what you are drawn to; however, families are not guaranteed their first choice as we aim to place all families with their top personal preferences. Final placement is based on temperament, compatibility, and overall fit for ALL families on the litter. This allocation process ensures thoughtful placements and means that no family receives the "last puppy remaining.”
Using your application responses, a family bio questionnaire (sent once you accept an invitation to join a specific litter), and information gathered during your phone interview, we carefully match each family with puppies whose personalities and temperaments best align with their home environment and lifestyle. This information is also shared with our trainer during temperament testing to ensure thoughtful, well-informed placements.
While temperament is our top priority, we also take your preferences into consideration whenever possible, including color, gender, and size. Our goal is always to set both our puppies and their families up for long-term success. For example, a quiet, low-key household may not be the best fit for the most playful puppy in the litter, while an adventurous family may not be happiest with a more reserved temperament.
By seven weeks of age, we know our puppies well and work hard to check as many boxes as possible for each family. If the right match is not available within the current litter, you are welcome to transfer to another available litter without forfeiting your $500 reservation fee.
For more details about our puppy matching and selection process, please visit our Available Puppies page and scroll to the bottom beneath the photos.
Step 5 - Puppy Go Home "Gotcha Day" Options
We love welcoming our Springdale Labradoodle families into our home to pick up their new best friend; however, we understand that this isn’t always possible. For families who are unable to travel, we are happy to offer puppy delivery via an experienced flight nanny (most often one of us). Your puppy will fly in-cabin, lovingly cared for, and delivered directly into your arms at the closest major airport.
Please contact us for additional details and an exact quote for this service. Travel fees are determined and quoted on an individual basis once your puppy is born and based on ticket prices. We do everything possible to make the transition from our home to yours as smooth and stress-free as possible.
We do NOT ship our puppies in Cargo under a plane, as we do not believe it is in their best interest. We fly our puppies in our laps and are happy to bring them to you once you approve and pay for the air travel quote. We are in located in central NC in Greensboro (GSO airport). You may also fly in and we can meet you at the Greensboro Triad Airport (GSO) with your puppy. To make for a smooth trip for you and your puppy, we will ensure that your puppy is acclimated and ready to travel in a soft-sided airline carrier prior to going home.

Yes—absolutely. We believe this is the only responsible and ethical way to breed.
Every puppy from Springdale Australian Labradoodles is placed under a strict spay/neuter agreement through Spay Secure, an independent third-party spay/neuter enforcement service. This agreement is fully enforced and helps ensure the long-term health of our puppies while protecting the integrity of the Australian Labradoodle breed.
All Springdale Australian Labradoodle puppies are sold as pet-only companions and are required to be spayed or neutered in accordance with the terms outlined in the Spay Secure contract.

We have a No Shelter Policy-Responsible Breeding is our Priority
We are deeply committed to ensuring that every Springdale Labradoodle is placed in a loving, lifelong home. Our Adoption Agreement strictly states that under no circumstances may one of our puppies or dogs be surrendered to a shelter. If, at any point, a dog must be relinquished, Springdale Labradoodles must be contacted immediately so we can assist with placement in an approved new home or welcome the dog back into our care.
